New Vogue
This style of dance is an Australian form of sequence dancing that originated in the 1930s and has since become an important part in the Australia and New Zealand ballroom scene. All New Vogue dances are based on a sequence of dance steps which are continually repeated until the music ends.
New Vogue Dances are based on one of several sub categories, including Viennese Waltz Rhythm, Slow Foxtrot Rhythm, March Time Rhythm and Tango Rhythm and include the Merilyn, Tangoette, Evening Three Step, Labomba and Barclay Blues just to name a few.
We can teach you here at Mornington Dance Studio whether you are a beginner or have been dancing for years.
